About Katie...

Personal Life
Katie Bramble is a trauma therapist (LICSW) and the founder of Branches Integrative Wellness in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Katie lives on a horse farm with her husband, three children, and too many animals to mention. In addition to specialized trauma work and traditional psychotherapy, Katie and her husband work together at their farm providing equine assisted trauma therapy. Katie also facilitates group therapy, trauma intensives, and wellness retreats.
Professional Life
Katie cultivates healing through exploration of the past, targeted trauma processing, psychosocial skill building, and an implementation of practical strategies. Core to her approach is working with people to identify their inner critics and to recognize the limiting beliefs that shape the lens through which they see themselves and the world around them. Katie provides a safe space for her clients to gain insight, build deeper and more authentic connections, and develop skills for reducing distress so they can live a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
Katie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), two evidence-based trauma modalities that use bilateral stimulation to reduce the negative influence traumatic experiences have on our current thoughts, feelings, and behavior.
In Katie’s previous professional life, she was a documentary film and television producer. She has worked on commercials, music videos, indie films, and just about every type of unscripted series you can imagine–including Intervention (A&E), Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition (ABC), and Iron Chef America (Food Network) – to name a few. She was also the Supervising Producer of the award-winning feature documentary, Little Man (Showtime), about a family who struggles to hold their family together when their son, Nicholas, is born weighing less than one pound.
Katie graduated with a Communications degree from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University.

Written is a chick-lit-style adventure that’s set in Hollywood. It’s a quarter-life-crisis journey with a magical “manifest your destiny” element and an alternate-reality twist. It’s meant to be a fast and fun read that’s great for the beach or an airplane ride. There’s a love story, some back-stabbing, and a whole lot of “what the hell am I going to do with my life?” (Which hopefully many people will relate to.)
